Actor and producer Baiju Ezhupunna has refuted actress and model Parvathy Omanakuttan's claim that he defrauded her during the making of the film "KQ." In an interview, Parvathy alleged that Baiju had misled her after the film's completion. Baiju has now provided his side of the story, clarifying the situation.

Baiju explained that he was not originally the hero of "KQ" and was cast in a different role. The initial producer backed out a few days into shooting, forcing Baiju to step in and complete the film, which also led him to direct it. He acknowledged that his character should have been recast, but due to circumstances, he continued in the role.

Baiju recalled that Parvathy had agreed to do the film because she liked the story and even did a photo shoot with him during the launch. Initially, Arya was supposed to play a significant role, but it turned out Arya was not involved and the team had been misled. They then brought in another actor from Tamil cinema but the performance did not meet expectations, leading to Anson Paul being cast after an audition.

Baiju emphasized that Parvathy was aware of these changes and had agreed to her role. He disputed her claims, stating that she was paid as promised and that her allegations were unfounded. Baiju continued to assert his dedication to filmmaking and noted that he has consistently worked on films without any issues.
