Kallar resort case; Actor Baburaj arrested for land fraud

IDUKKI: Actor Baburaj was arrested in connection with fraud case. He was arrested after he surrendered at the Adimali police station as directed by the High Court. The complaint against Baburaj is that he extorted money by leasing out the resort in Kallar, which is facing revenue action.

The resort owned by the actor at Kambiline in Kallar was leased to a native of Kothamangalam. The High Court had granted anticipatory bail in the case. The court had also directed him to appear at the station for questioning.
