Bomb threat in Delhi High Court; evicts judges and lawyers

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has received a bomb threat message. The incident happened Friday afternoon. The message was received via e-mail.


After the message was received, the bomb disposal team reached the spot and is conducting a search. The authorities requested judges, lawyers and other employees to evacuate the court premises. No further details have been released.


A fake bomb threat was received at Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's office and two medical colleges the other day. The threat message was received via e-mail at Maulana Azad Medical College and University College of Medical Sciences. The bomb squad reached the spot and evacuated the people and conducted a detailed inspection, but nothing was found. The fire brigade was also present at the spot. Classes in medical colleges were also canceled following the threat. Fake bomb threats have been received in many important centers and educational institutions in the country before.
