Bounty of Rs 15 lakh: Three Maoists killed in encounter in Chhattisgarh

RAIPUR: Security forces killed three Maoists carrying a bounty of Rs 15 lakh on their heads in an encounter in Chhattisgarh.

The deceased were identified as Madhvi Deva, Podium Gangi and Sodi Gangi. Two of them are women. The encounter took place during a search operation conducted by security forces on a tip-off early this morning. Several weapons were also recovered from the area. Officials said that three Maoist cadres were neutralized.
