CJ Roy's suicide; gun taken into custody, CCTV and hard disk to be examined

BENGALURU: Police conducted a detailed inspection of the building where Confident Group owner CJ Roy committed suicide. Roy shot himself dead at the Confident Pentagon corporate office. FSL Lab officials and Ashok Nagar police conducted a detailed inspection at the spot. The gun used for the shooting was also taken into custody. The police have also ordered the custody of the CCTV cameras and hard disks in the building.

The Income Tax Department has not confirmed that a raid was conducted inside the Confidant Group office. It was the employees who informed that CJ Roy committed suicide. They informed the IT officials after hearing the sound of gunshots. The police said that they will take detailed statements from those present at the spot. CJ Roy's body has been shifted to Narayana Hospital.
