Conflict in Middle East: Control room opened at Kerala House; know helpline numbers

NEW DELHI: On the instructions of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, a 24-hour control room has been opened at Kerala House in Delhi for Malayalis in conflict zones in West Asian countries. Those in need can contact the helpline numbers 011-23747079, 011-23742320, and +91-9310443880.

Resident Commissioner Puneet Kumar, Additional Resident Commissioner Dr. Aswathy Srinivas, Controller A.S. Harikumar, Liaison Officer Rahul K. Jaiswar and NORKA Development Officer J. Shajimon have been assigned to coordinate the control room operations. The government is in constant touch with the embassies of various GCC countries. Indian citizens in these countries can contact the helpline numbers set up by the embassies. If there are any changes in the current situation, new decisions and instructions will be communicated immediately.
