
BENGALURU: A major theft has been reported at the office of a minister in Karnataka. The theft happened at the office of Congress Minister Byrathi Suresh at the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in Bengaluru. Gold and cash were stolen from the handbag of a visitor named Naveen. He accidentally left the bag inside the minister’s office. The bag contained about 300 grams of gold (37 sovereigns) and Rs 1.5 lakh.
The next morning, Naveen went to the office but the bag was missing. Naveen later filed a complaint at the Vidhana Soudha police station. The bag was stolen by DPAR Group D employee, who was later arrested in the incident.
