NEW DELHI: Indian cricketer Rinku Singh's father Khanchand Singh passed away Friday morning. He was undergoing treatment for liver cancer for a long time. His condition deteriorated earlier this week while undergoing treatment at Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida. He was on ventilator support due to his deteriorating health. Following this, Rinku, who was part of the Twenty20 World Cup cricket team, left the camp.
He was diagnosed with liver cancer a year ago. Rinku's father Khanchand Singh played a significant role in Rinku's career. He worked as an LPG cylinder delivery man in Aligarh despite his financial limitations and made sure that Rinku got every possible opportunity to make it big as a cricketer. Even after Rinku joined the Indian team, he continued his work.
