Karishma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sunjay Kapur dies of cardiac arrest while playing polo

LONDON: Sunjay Kapur, ex-husband of actress Karishma Kapoor died in England following heart attack. He was 53. He suffered heart attack while playing polo. After divorcing Karishma, he married model Priya Sachdev and have a son together.

Author and columnist Suhel Seth confirmed the demise of Sunjay Kapur. As news of the demise broke, Kareena Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan reached Karishma’s house to console her. Malaika Arora and her sister Amrita Arora also were there.

Sunjay Kapur had shared a post on his X handle just hours before his death. He posted a condolence message for the victims of the plane crash in Ahmedabad. Karishma and Sunjay Kapur married in 2003 and separated in 2014. The couple has a daughter Samaira and son Kiaan.

Sunjay was chairman of Sona Comstar.
