Man brutally murders 12-year-old stepson; sends video of disfigured body to mother

NEW DELHI: A man brutally murdered his 12-year-old stepson and then sent the video of the body to his wife. The shocking incident happened in Delhi. The police found the disfigured body in a bush near Shastri Park Chowk early yesterday morning. The police have registered a case of murder against the accused. The investigation is underway.

The boy had serious injuries on his head, face and eyes. The boy's mother alleged that her husband picked up her son from near a football ground on Thursday and killed him. According to the family, the woman had told her husband to leave the house after a fight and this may have led him to commit the crime.

The boy's mother received a WhatsApp video of her son's body from an unknown number. She said the accused also said in the video, ‘Take your son.’ ‘My son was lying in a pool of blood. One of his eyes was gouged out. His head had been smashed. When I saw the video, felt like I was going to faint. Although he had threatened to kill my son earlier, I never thought he would do this,’ said the boy's mother.
