SRIHARIKOTA: Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has launched its third launch vehicle, the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) at 9:17 am on Friday at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
SSLV launched Earth observation artificial satellite EOS 08 into space. ISRO announced that all three phases of the launch were a success. Students, children and locals thronged the space center to witness the launch of the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle.
