LUCKNOW: More details have come out regarding the incident where a youth brutally killed his father and abandoned the body in a forest. The victim is Ishwar, a native of Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. His son Vedpal was arrested by the police. According to the police, Vedpal slit Ishwar's throat using a sharp weapon following a family dispute.
Vedpal's statement to the police was as follows:
"Ishwar had an illicit affair with my wife. I killed him out of anger after finding out about it. Ishwar, who worked as a labourer, gave his entire salary to my wife, which led to the murder," the accused said. To divert the police investigation, Vedpal had initially filed a complaint against unknown individuals for the murder of his father. The murder took place on Friday evening. Police had confirmed that a close relative of Ishwar was behind the murder. The police, who grew suspicious of Vedpal's actions, interrogated him, and during the questioning, he admitted to committing the crime.
In another case, a 38-year-old man in Pune murdered his son, suspecting that his wife had an extramarital affair. The victim was a three-year-old boy named Himmat Madhav Tiketi. The incident took place in the Chandan Nagar area of Pune. Madhav Tiketi, the accused, was arrested by the police. He stated that he suspected his wife, Swaroopa, of having an affair with another man, which led to an argument between them. After the dispute, he left home with his son, went to a bar, drank alcohol, and then proceeded to a forest area where he murdered his son.
