56-year-old man found shot dead in Kottayam

KOTTAYAM: A man was found shot dead in Erattupetta, Kottayam. The deceased, Lawrence (56), was found in a compound near his house. A gun was also found nearby. Police believe committed suicide using the firearm.

Erattupetta Police have launched an investigation. After the inquest, the body was taken to the hospital. It will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem.
