Bharat Chandran’s second marriage; woman stabs husband and mother-in-law; taken into custody

MALAPPURAM: A woman stabbed her husband and mother-in-law following a family dispute. The incident took place in Kottakal, Malappuram. Bharat Chandran (29) and his mother Komalavalli (49) were injured in the attack. Bharat Chandran's wife Sajina was taken into custody by the police in the incident.

The incident took place around 11 am today. Sajina and Bharat Chandran had earlier had differences of opinion, and following a fight, Bharat took Sajina to her house in Thiruvananthapuram. Sajina came to Malappuram after learning that Bharat was preparing to marry for the second time. She was carrying petrol and a knife in her hand. Bharat was stabbed in the hand, and his mother in the stomach. Both have been admitted to a private hospital in Kottakkala. It is reported that the health condition of both is satisfactory.
