Woman found dead on roadside; liquor bottle and knife found in spot

PALAKKAD: A woman in her 40s was found dead near Chorakod at Pudunagaram in the district. She was found with her throat slit. The locals said they suspect the dead a native of Tamil Nadu and a nomad.

The body was found Saturday morning. A liquor bottle and a knife were found in the spot. The Palakkad Town South Police had reached the spot. Police said they were looking into the details of the incident.
