KOTTAYAM: Former minister K C Joseph responded to the allegations of Minister K B Ganesh Kumar that former chief minister Oommen Chandy played a role in disrupting his family relations. Joseph said Ganesh Kumar should not try to scare with empty threats and that the people of Kerala know who Oommen Chandy is.

'Controversial remarks cannot be accepted. He was removed from the ministry for his own mistakes. The UDF demanded his resignation over a case. He was not included in the ministry later due to continuous allegations levelled against him. No point in blaming Oommen Chandy for that. He will never damage anybody’s family. He will never do that. Even if he says he did, the people of Kerala will not believe him. No matter what Ganesh says, the people will not believe him.

The remark was not anything related to elections. When someone like Ganesh Kumar says something, should have spoken a little more seriously. The tone of his speech was not right. He is threatening by blabbering. Oommen Chandy's public life is an open book to the people of Kerala.

It was not Oommen Chandy's decision alone that Ganesh should resign. When the case arose, the UDF discussed it. Resignation was UDF's direction. The chief minister only demanded it and he was not sacked. I don’t know whether he was promised to be inducted later,' clarified former minister K C Joseph.
