‘He demanded ganja early morning’; producer against Sreenath Bhasi

KOCHI: Producer Haseeb Malabar came to the fore levelling serious allegations against actor Sreenath Bhasi. He said the actor constantly demands drugs on film sets. While talking to a private channel, he said this happened on the film location of ‘Namukku Kodathiyil Kanam’.

The producer said the actor called him at 3 am and demanded ganja and that he really got fed up with the actor. He also said that the shooting and dubbing of the film got delayed because he failed to come regularly. There were some revelations against the actor on his use of drugs. Soon a film producer came forward against him.

A woman caught with hybrid cannabis had given a statement against Sreenath Bhasi days ago. 43-year-old Tasleena Sultana, caught with hybrid ganja, gave a statement to the excise that she had supplied drugs to the actors. The woman said that she had supplied drugs to Sreenath Bhasi and Shine Tom Chacko.

Ganja worth Rs 3 crore in the market was seized from her. Apart from her, the police have also arrested her assistant K Firoz (26). Tasleena is a native of Kannur. Her activities centred around Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi. The dealings were done online. Apart from those in the film industry, they had a plan to supply the drugs to some in the tourism sector in Alappuzha.
