Actors appear for grilling in hybrid ganja case, Shine Tom Chacko requests to leave him in an hour

ALAPPUZHA: Actors Sreenath Bhasi and Shine Tom Chacko appeared at the Alappuzha Excise Commissioner's Office to clarify the financial transaction with Taslima, who was arrested in the hybrid ganja case. Soumya of Palakkad and a model also appeared in the case. Shine appeared Monday morning at around 7.30 am and Sreenath Bhasi at 8.15 am. Shine Tom Chacko informed that he is undergoing treatment at the de-addiction center in Bangalore and so requested to leave him in an hour.

There are evidences for Taslima Sultana (41), arrested in the hybrid ganja case, having connections with actors and model Soumya. However, it was not possible to find out whether they had ganja dealings. The interrogation will be on it. Shine had previously said that the ganja was brought to Alappuzha for a famous actor. It is indicated that he was summoned to clarify the truth in it. The actors will be questioned based on the questionnaire prepared. If they are found to be involved in the ganja smuggling case, they will be arraigned.

Meantime, the investigation team has asked reality show star Jinto and a youth, an assistant to the film producers, to appear tomorrow. They will be questioned tomorrow.
