KOCHI: Actress Rini Ann George responded in the incident of denying anticipatory bail to Palakkad MLA Rahul Mamkootathi. The survivors faced brutal abuse. She said that she is happy for the role played in ensuring justice.

‘Truth will prevail. I have faced many cyber-attacks. The allegations were that all were fabricated stories. Now the court itself has given indications that none of the allegations were fabricated. I had to suffer a lot for the things I said with so much pain. However, there is great happiness for the role played for my sisters to get justice.

I understand that there are still survivors. They should also be part of the case. Justice should be found. Many have had many problems. I am saying things that many hesitate to say. Survivors should not stay at home with their trauma. I thank the Congress leadership on behalf of all survivors for taking pro-women action,' said Rini.
