19-year-old girl collapses and dies while talking to relatives in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: A 19-year-old girl collapsed and died while talking to her relatives in front of her house in Malappuram. The incident took place in Vazhikkadavu in Malappuram. The deceased has been identified as Rifadiya, the daughter of Vazhikkadavu native Jafar Khan.

Rifadiya collapsed at around 2 pm on Sunday. She was sitting on a chair in the courtyard of her house and talking to her relatives when she suddenly collapsed. Although she was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Palad, her life could not be saved.

According to family members, the girl did not have any known health issues. Her sudden death has shocked the entire village. The exact cause of death is not yet known. The body has been shifted to the Manjeri Medical College Hospital mortuary and will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem. She is survived by her father Jafar Khan, mother Noorjahan and sister Rizwana.
