Accident in Kollam; Minister Veena George leads rescue operations, takes injured to hospital

KOLLAM: Health Minister Veena George led the rescue operations in the accident where two cars collided in Nilamel. The minister, who was traveling via Nilamel, stopped her vehicle after knowing about the accident and got out to provide assistance to the injured. She made arrangements to take the injured to the hospital.

Nine were injured in the accident. The injured were taken to Kadakkal Taluk Hospital in the minister's pilot vehicle and ambulance. The minister also directed the hospital authorities to provide expert treatment to the injured.
