Attack towards Rahul’s office; SFI not behind damage of Gandhiji’s picture, says report

WAYANAD: The police report said SFI is not behind the damage of the picture of Gandhiji hung in the office of Rahul Gandhi MP in Kalpetta. In the report submitted by Wayanad district police chief to DGP, the police came to this conclusion by using the photographs taken by the police as evidence. Crime Branch SP has also submitted a report in this regard to crime branch chief.

As per the police report, Gandhi's picture was on the wall in the picture taken by the police photographer at 4 o'clock as soon as the SFI activists left. However, after this the UDF workers came to the office. In the picture taken by the police photographer after this, Gandhiji's photo was seen damaged and lying on the ground and the files were all found scattered.

The SFI had the other day taken action over the attack on Rahul Gandhi’s office. The Wayanad district committee was disbanded and was replaced by an ad hoc committee.
