
WAYANAD: A wild boar ran into a bakery in the town in broad daylight, creating panic. The incident occurred at Janatha Bakery, located near the post office in Thamarassery town. The wild boar remained in the shop for about 15 minutes, scaring customers and employees.
The wild boar, which came from Ullas Colony Road, crossed the national highway and climbed onto the sidewalk on the opposite side and ran inside the bakery. The wild boar caused panic inside the room for some time before reaching the front of the shop. Later, it crossed the national highway and left the place. During its run, the wild boar hit a parked bike and crashed into the door of a car passing by on the national highway, causing it to fall to the ground. The wild animal that entered the bakery roamed a bit, but no damage was caused. Locals say that wild boar nuisance is common in many places in Thamarassery.
