THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A British warplane made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram Airport due to low fuel levels. The aircraft had taken off from the warship HMS Prince of Wales, positioned approximately 100 nautical miles off the coast.

After completing the training flight, the pilot attempted to land back on the warship, but rough sea conditions prevented the landing. The aircraft continued to circle the area multiple times. As the fuel ran low, the warplane was granted permission by the Defence Ministry to land at the nearby Thiruvananthapuram airport. The aircraft will be cleared for departure following necessary procedures by the Defence authorities.
