Complainant in sexual abuse case against Rahul MLA, attempts suicide; Doctor tells police

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The woman, who filed a sexual harassment complaint against Rahul Mamkootathil MLA, attempted suicide twice. It is reported that she attempted suicide by taking an overdose of medication after a forced abortion. She spent several days in the hospital after this. The woman also told police that she once tried to slit her wrist. The woman had revealed to the doctor that she was forced to take two pills to abort her baby. The doctor later informed the police about this.
