Eight-month-old baby on bike dies after falling from mother’s hands

ALAPPUZHA: An eight-month-old baby died after falling from his mother’s hands while travelling on a bike. The baby has been identified as Muhammed, son of Aslam of Mannancherry Poovathum. The baby slipped from his mother’s hands while pillion riding with her father-in-law.

The reason for the accident was that the bike applied a sudden brake to avoid hitting a vehicle that carelessly crossed the road. The accident happened last evening.
