KOCHI: The High Court has ordered to produce all the documents such as case diary, complainant’s statement and WhatsApp messages today in the sexual harassment case against Eldhose Kunnappilly MLA. Justice Dr Kauser Edappagath considered the pleas filed by the government and the complainant requesting to cancel the anticipatory bail of Eldhose. He gave directions to the Thiruvananthapuram Sessions Court. The petitions will be heard again on the 17th.

When Eldhose’s lawyer stated yesterday that there are 48 cases pending against the complainant, the court said that they need to know the details. The complainant handled the social media accounts of the MLA. The lawyer also explained that she took Eldhose’s phone, found out his password and blackmailed him. Eldhose's wife has filed a complaint at the Kurupampadi police station against the complainant for demanding Rs 1 crore through blackmail. MLA’s lawyer argued that the complainant's first complaint did not mention that she was sexually assaulted and such a complaint was filed only after 14 days.

The government argued that the sessions court had granted anticipatory bail to Eldhose Kunnappilly without considering the complainant’s confidential statement.
