Goods train derails in Pattambi; two trains partially cancelled

PATTAMBI: A goods train derailed at Pallipuram in Pattambi. The train coming from Mangalore to Palakkad derailed. Following this, four trains have been stationed at various places. The incident happened at around 11.30 am today. While changing from the third track to the fourth track, one of the bogies of the train derailed. An engineer team from Shoranur moved the bogie from the track, and traffic was restored at around 1.30 pm.

Eranad Express, Parasuram Express, Jana Shatabdi, Kochuveli Express and Thiruvananthapuram Express are delayed by 30 minutes each. Two trains have been partially cancelled. The passenger train coming from Kozhikode to Palakkad and the train going from Palakkad to Kannur have been cancelled.
