KANNUR: Adopting more ways to increase the salary for employees, the KSRTC north zone employees have decided to place collection targets. In the meeting held to discuss the same, KSRTC MD Biju Prabhakar said that those employees achieving the target will get the benefits while those falling short will be demoted. Transport Minister Antony Raju also took part in the meeting.

The minister said those unions working against the interest of the government won't be helped. He later asked the employees to not follow the art of doing protests. ATO and DTO executive officers should go for inspection on buses. In one month, at least 30 buses should be inspected. The officials also asked the officers in KSRTC to drop the condescending attitude and adopt more a functional one. The KSRTC MD also asked the employees to not reach his office with the advocacy of union leaders to fulfill any deeds.
