Mammootty, Mohanlal react to CUSAT tragedy, actors wish speedy recovery to students injured

KOCHI: The accident that happened in CUSAT campus is heartbroken, said actor Mammootty. The accident happened just before the music concert organized as part of the arts fest conducted every year by the students of school of engineering of CUSAT. The actor said that his thoughts are with the families of the bereaved. He responded on social media.

‘The accident in Kochi is heartbroken. My thoughts at the moment are with the families of the bereaved. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.’

Meantime, actor Mohanlal also expressed condolences to the students. He responded on social media. ‘Expressing my deepest condolences to the families of the students who lost their lives in the stampede in CUSAT’, he mentioned in the post.

Bollywood singer Nikhita Gandhi also came with a response. She said that she is heartbroken in the incident that happened in Kochi. ‘The unfortunate incident happened just before she left to the venue for the concert,’ her Instagram post said. She was to perform at the concert yesterday.
