Mathew all set to return; Muthuvel Pandian is back in Attappadi

The sequel to the blockbuster ‘Jailer’, directed by Nelson and starring Rajinikanth, will start filming soon in Kerala’s Attapadi. Set work is in progress. A decision will be made soon regarding Mohanlal's date. It is reported that the Malayalam superstar will participate in the new schedule in Attappadi.

The first phase of Jailer 2 was shot in March. It is indicated that Tamannaah will make a return to shake a leg for another dance sequence in the movie. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kottayam Nazir, Sunil Sukhada, Vineeth Thattil, and Anna Rajan are other major Malayalam stars signed for the movie.

Suraj Venjaramoodu is likely to be the antagonist in the sequel. Jailer 1 was released in 2023. The film grossed over 600 crores at the global box office. Malayalam actor Vinayakan’s antagonist role in the movie was highly appreciated by audiences.
