Youth in inebriated condition beats uncle to death in Palakkad 

PALAKKAD: A youth in an inebriated condition beat his uncle to death at Vadakarapathy in Palakkad. The dead is Senthil Kumar (45) of Vadakarapathy. The accused is his nephew Prabhakaran (33). A verbal dispute in serving food in an intoxicated condition led to the murder.

The incident happened last night at 8 pm. Prabhakaran, who was drunk beat his uncle to death with an iron rod. The Kozhinjampara police have taken Prabhakaran into custody.
