MBBS student dies in tragic road accident in Thiruvananthapuram

VENJARAMMOODU: A medical student died tragically in a KSRTC bus-bike collision in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday evening.

Shahin (23), son of Shiraz Khan and Sumayya, of Pomkunnu Shahin Villa in Kanyakulangara, Vembayam, died in the accident. He was a third-year MBBS student in Jordan. Shahin reached home a month ago after receiving leave due to Middle East tensions related to the Iran war. The accident took place at 7.30 pm last night in Kanyakulangara on MC Road. A fast passenger bus heading to Thiruvananthapuram collided with an oncoming bike. The seriously injured man was taken to a private hospital in Pattom, but his life could not be saved. The KSRTC bus was trying to overtake another vehicle when it collided with the bike.
