MSC cargo ship hits fishing boat off Kochi coast; no injuries reported

KOCHI: A fishing boat was hit by an MSC cargo ship off the Kochi coast on Wednesday. The incident took place at around 5:30 pm. The boat, named Prathyasha, sustained damage in the collision.

Workers on board said the accident happened while they were engaged in fishing activities. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. A complaint has been filed with the Cochin Coastal Police Station, and authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
