"My Keralam, your Keralam, our Keralam": Mohanlal interviews Pinarayi Vijayan; 'Kandum Mindiyum Iruvar' teaser out

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mohanlal's interview with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will be aired tomorrow. The teaser of the interview program 'Kandum Mindiyum Iruvar' prepared by PRD for the government was released yesterday. Director TK Rajeevkumar and others worked behind the camera. Mohanlal came for the interview, considering the special request of the Chief Minister. Mohanlal has also interviewed former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy earlier.

Mohanlal, who has close ties with Pinarayi Vijayan, asked questions based on his political life and the government's activities. The interview was shot over two days at the Chief Minister's official residence, Cliff House. The shooting was done in strict secrecy.

The Chief Minister-Mohanlal interview comes amid opposition allegations that the government is doing excessive PR work with the assembly elections approaching.

The interview begins with Mohanlal arriving at Cliff House in a car. The interview, which progresses from the living room to walking in the garden, ends with Lal saying, 'My Keralam, your Keralam, our Keralam'.

Mohanlal: I heard that the Chief Minister's favorite movie is of Rajinikanth's. That too action movies

Pinarayi: I generally like action movies.

Mohanlal: Have you tried to adapt any movie scene in real life?

Pinarayi: I haven't tried that.

Mohanlal: Do you remember any dialogue from the movie I acted in?

Pinarayi: Lots....Dineshan and Dasan are all there, right? (Laughter)

Mohanlal: Have you regretted anything in your life?

Pinarayi: If I have to say about a time when I had to regret ....
