Ninth class boy found hanging at home

KASARGOD: A ninth-class boy, who reached home after exams, was found hanging at home. The 14-year-old boy has been identified as Prajwal, a student of Kasargod Bellur Government Higher Secondary School. He is son of Jayakara and Anitha of Kunjathotti in Bellur.

The boy’s mother had gone to the school to pick their children from Mulleriya School. There was no one else at home. When she returned home, found her son hanging from a hook with a shawl.

The boy had gone to his mother’s house last Sunday. He went to write the exams from there. He reached school at 11 am thinking that the exams are being held in the afternoon. The teachers said the boy was allowed to write the exam even after the exam started in the morning. The cause of death is not clear. The Adhur police have registered a case in the incident.
