PALAKKAD: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued a lookout notice for the leaders of the banned organization Popular Front of India (PFI). Notices containing photos and information have been stuck in various parts of Shornur railway station. A reward has been announced for the informers in the lookout notice.
The notice included four people from Pattambi and Cherpulaserry, one from Ernakulam and one whose name has not been given. They are the accused in the case registered at the NIA's office in Kochi. The poster has stated that the information regarding the informants will be kept confidential. The phone number of the NIA office in Kochi has also been given. The railway authorities said the NIA officials came the other day and stuck the posters.
The names of Abdul Rasheed (32) of Pattambi, Muhammad Mansoor (41) of Pattambi Mohammadali (42) of Cherpulasseri, Shahul Hameed (54) of Koottanad and Abdul Wahab (36) of Ernakulam Paravur and another person whose name has not been given, were given as fugitives.
A reward of Rs 5 lakh has been announced to those providing information of Abdul Wahab and Abdul Rasheed and Rs 7 lakh to those providing information about the person whose name is not released. Those giving information about the others in the lookout notice will be given Rs 3 lakh each.
