KOLLAM: The police gave a clean chit to Minister A K Saseendran on the allegation of his intervention to settle the Kundara sexual harassment complaint. The police report is that the minister had not asked the woman to withdraw the complaint and so a case cannot be registered.
The report submitted to Kollam rural SP by Sasthamcotta DySP asserted that the minister directed to solve the case in a good manner. The report said legal advice was sought in this regard.
A complaint was lodged by Youth League leader Sahal. The minister had not spoken to the complainant but spoke to her father. The minister had not mentioned her name or any other details. The minister had earlier said that the government will not interfere in the probe.
