Police inspector found hanging at his newly built house in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A police officer was found dead at his house in Thiruvananthapuram. Inspector Jaison Alex, from the Police Telecommunication Department, was found hanging in his house on Friday morning.

Initial reports suggest that he took his life by hanging shortly after returning home from duty in the morning. The incident took place at a newly constructed house near Chenkottukonam.

The tragic incident occurred while his wife, a teacher, and their children were away at school. The reason behind the death is currently unknown. Kazhakoottam Police have reached the location and begun inquest procedures. Reports indicate that he was a native of Kollam.
