Residents Association asks Rahul Mamkootathil to vacate flat due to constant police searches

PALAKKAD: The residents of the flat also occupied by Rahul Mamkootathil MLA, ask him to vacate the flat. The residents’ association of the flat has issued a notice asking him to vacate the flat before December 25.


Constant searches by the police in the case are causing difficulties and, in this situation, they ask him to vacate the flat. It is reported that Rahul has informed the association that he will vacate the flat soon.

There are two sexual assault cases against the MLA. Rahul, who went into hiding returned yesterday to vote for the local body polls. He was on the run for fifteen days. He returned after receiving an interim order from the high court staying his arrest and getting an anticipatory bail from the Munsif Court in the second case.
