Shoukath leaping; lead for Swaraj in Pothukal, UDF fails to meet expectations

NILAMBUR: Following the UDF's leap, Aryadan Shoukath's majority is nearing 8000. Shoukath's lead is 7645 after the ninth round. It is being assessed that the UDF did not get the expected votes despite being in the lead. KPCC President Sunny Joseph said that they will assess whether the UDF has lost votes. Meanwhile, LDF candidate M Swaraj took the lead in Pothukal. The UDF is leading in the panchayats of Moothedam and Vazhikkadavu. The UDF did not get the expected votes in Vazhikkadavu. The UDF also won the vote in Moothedam. The UDF is also leading in the Edakkara panchayat.
