CHANGANASSERY: NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair said that he agrees with SNDP General Secretary Vellappally Natesan’s opinion that there should be unity between the communities. He added that Vellappally Natesan and SNDP want to cooperate with the NSS.

We will meet on January 21st. NSS is also interested in it because it is understood to be the need of the hour. He added that it is his belief that a favorable decision will be taken after consulting the NSS and the leadership.

‘I feel that there is a need for unity between communities, both personally and organizationally. NSS moves towards unity by maintaining the core values of the organization. We will not allow anything to be done against any community or religion. What is wrong with the SNDP and NSS, the major communities in the Hindu organization, coming together in harmony with everyone while maintaining the basic values?' asked Sukumaran Nair.

'Stayed away when there was an issue over reservation. Today it has become a non-issue. In that situation, both should move forward unitedly. Same approach to all religious groups and political parties. That's what core values are all about. Equidistant to all political parties. Sukumaran Nair said NSS wants such a unity by maintaining the situation of criticizing social problems wherever they arise.
