Sooraj, Binsy murdered in Kuwait laid to rest

KANNUR: The funeral of the couple murdered in Kuwait was held. The bodies of Sooraj, a nurse from Sreekandapuram and his wife Binsy, a nurse from Kolenchery, in Ernakulam, were laid to rest at the Mandalam St Jude. Many people paid their last respects to the couple.

They were working as nurses in the health department and the ministry of defense in Kuwait. The bodies were brought home after a public viewing at Sabah Hospital in Kuwait. They were found dead on May 1st at their residence in Abbasiya, a place where Malayalees live. It is reported that the two had an argument on reaching home after night duty. Sooraj then stabbed Binsy to death and then committed suicide.
