State govt withdraws decision to extend Dec ration distribution; Jan ration from Thursday onwards

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government has withdrawn the decision to extend the regular ration distribution for the month of December till the 5th of this month. Minister G.R. Anil clarified that this is in the context of the revised ration scheme introduced by the central government. Those who did not buy the central government’s PMGKAY share in December will be given an opportunity to buy it till January 10. Ration shops have been given a holiday today to complete the technical procedures for this.
