Teacher killed in major accident in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: A teacher was killed in an accident at Manjerikavu in Kongad. The dead has been identified as Susheela (50), a teacher of Government LP School in Kundalassery. CCTV footage of the accident has emerged.

The accident occurred on the Mundur Cherpulassery state highway. The car losing control hit the bike and then the two-wheeler hit the auto that was coming. Susheela, who was in the auto, sustained serious injuries. The people in the area immediately rushed her to the hospital, but her life could not be saved. The biker also sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment.
