CM, ministers flying abroad amidst severe financial crunch, to visit Britain, Norway and Finland

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The chief minister and the ministers are planning a European visit to attract investments and for a study in the field of education. Reports say Education Minister V Sivankutty, Industries Minister P Rajeev and Finance Minister K N Balagopal are accompanying the chief minister.

They will be paying a visit to Britain, Norway and Finland. Going to Finland as per the invitation of the government for studies in the field of education. Chief Minister, Minister of Education and senior officials of the Department of Education will be visiting Finland.

Ministers visit to Britain is to attract investments. Minister K N Balagopal and Minister P Rajeev are going to Britain. They will pay a visit to Norway also. The chief minister and the ministers will be flying abroad next month. Criticisms are being raised against their foreign visit amidst the severe financial crunch.
