Tuition center owner brutally beats boy for not finishing notes

KOLLAM: The main teacher of a tuition center allegedly beat and broke the hand of a student for not finishing his notes. A 16-year-old of Mayyanad was beaten brutally. The incident happened last evening at a private tuition center in Mevaram.


The Plus one student could not attend his tuition class as he had to participate in the National Service Scheme Camp. The boy's father said that his son was made to sit in the center for two days and made to write the notes he missed without allowing him to go to school. The principal, who came to the class in the evening, beat the boy for not finishing his notes.


He was beaten with a cane. The owner of the tuition center himself called the family and informed about the assault. He told them that their son sustained minor injuries on his hand and so is dropping him home. They left him home and then went from there. When the boy's father reached home at night, saw the injuries. There were beat marks all over his body. The family has decided to move legally.
