Two children drown while bathing in Bavali River

KALPETTA: Two children drowned while bathing in the Bavali river in Wayanad. The tragic incident happened when they were on a pleasure trip. Three students met with the accident and one has been rescued. The dead were identified as Adinan (17) from Koyilandy and Ashiq (15) from Pathimangalam. The two students met with the accident while trying to save Mubashir from drowning. The locals rushed to the spot after hearing their screams and rushed them to Mananthavady Medical College, but they could not be saved.
