THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Veena George has said that two more people in the state have been diagnosed with the Zika virus. A 14-year-old woman from Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram and a 24-year-old from Puthenthoppu were diagnosed with the virus.
The test was conducted at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Virology Lab and Public Health Lab. With this, a total of 63 people in the state have been diagnosed with ZIka. There are three active cases. None of them are pregnant or admitted to hospital. The health condition of all is satisfactory, the minister said in a press release.
