THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sindhu, wife of Venu, an auto driver who died without getting treatment at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital, demanded a government job. While talking to a channel, she said that it has been two months since her husband died and that she has two daughters.

The investigation report on the death of Venu, who died without getting treatment had emerged yesterday. Sindhu had clarified yesterday that if no action is taken against the culprits, she will move legally. She has now revealed more things over the report.

'Whatever I said was mentioned in the report as their lapses, but I have not seen any action taken against those who committed these lapses. That is my biggest worry.

The report said the doctors and the staff there should be subjected to counselling. No one's name was mentioned. I can only say that no other family should have the same fate as mine. Action needs to be taken against them. Otherwise, this will happen tomorrow. If there is no decision from the government, I will fight legally. I must get justice. I have two daughters. I don't want compensation; I want a job. My husband has been dead for two months. No one from the government has inquired about how we are surviving. I am working in a management school and we live on my salary of Rs 10,000. The investigation should not be a farce,’ said Sindhu.
